Composite veneer

Ceramic veneer

Less durable and may feel more fragile

Stronger and more resistant to wear or breakage

2. Brightness level

Offers limited shade and brightness options

Offers a wider range of shades & brightness levels

3. Shine/ aesthetic quality

Can absorb colors from food,

may lose shine or discolor over time

(depending  on eating style & habits)

Provides high beauty, maintains natural shine and resist staining throughout its lifespan

(doesn’t absorb colors from food)

4. Longevity

Lasts around 3-5 years

(depending on habits & care)

Lasts approximately 10-15 years

(with proper care)

5. Treatment time

Can be completed in one visit (1-2 hours). (depending on the number of  teeth)

Takes about 5-7 days because it needs to be made through a laboratory process.

6. Repairability (when chipped or broken)

Can be repaired (depending on the size of the fracture)

Cannot be repaired, must be redone/replaced.

7. Treatment cost

Cheaper price, not expensive

Higher price (due to advanced material & longer lifespan.)
